Вещи, которые помогают: история
Our group tested a digital guide that another class had created. We did not begin by asking whether the page looked modern. We tried three simple tasks: find the entrance, open the map and save the guide for later. The page had a large button which said 'More', but nobody knew what it would open. A smaller link labelled 'Download the guide' was much clearer.
We wrote feedback about functions that we could actually test. The map opened correctly, and the text remained readable when we made it larger. However, the download button was difficult to find on a narrow screen. We suggested moving it near the map and giving it a specific label.
Our test used a sample guide without personal information. We did not need anyone's password or private account. After the changes, another pair repeated the tasks. They found the download more easily, which gave the authors evidence that the new layout helped with this particular task.
